9th Annual Housing Summit Planned for February

Since 2002, MIBOR has hosted a unique event for MIBOR members – a gathering of the experts to educate us all on the most pressing issues facing our economy, our industry and our communities at large. The Central Indiana Housing Summit has grown in size and scope in the last nine years and we are pleased to present the most comprehensive offering to date this February.  Renowned economist Dr. Lawrence Yun of the National Association of REALTORS® is the featured speaker of the closing session. The opening session will feature a panel of education experts including Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Tony Bennett as we explore the regional connectivity of schools, funding implications, reform measures and education’s impact on the housing industry.  In between you will have your choice of three breakout sessions focusing on regionalism, the state of central Indiana’s housing stock, and an examination of our region’s impediments to progress. You’ll come away with a wealth of new information, some answers and perhaps some questions about what we can all do to contribute to the formula for a vibrant central Indiana.
